How Making More Beautiful Built Something Bigger (And Got Us Three BeautyMatter Nominations)

Most agencies pick a lane. We built the whole highway.
We've never been great at staying in our lane. Maybe it's because we started nearly 20 years ago solving whatever beauty challenge walked through the door. Or maybe it's because when you're genuinely obsessed with making beautiful things, you don't want to limit yourself to just one way of doing it.
And you know what? All that lane-switching paid off. This month, we found out we're finalists for three BeautyMatter Awards—and we couldn't be more excited:
• Best Strategic Collaboration for our game-changing Sephora high-volume content production
• Best Ad Campaign for our diversity-forward work with Laneige
• Best Digital Agency for how we bridge strategy, creative, and technical execution across clients
For Marissa Bennett, our CEO, the recognition goes deeper than the awards themselves: "Being named a finalist in three categories just reinforces how far we've come. I'm incredibly proud of our team and the amazing humans behind these great brands we get to work withevery day."
Beauty that never sleeps (but we do)
Back in 2016, we started with retouching and product photography for Sephora. What began as a straightforward photography partnership evolved into something much bigger—a full-scale creative production operation that spans the globe.
Sephora has 300+ curated labels and nearly 45,000 products, and they needed a partner who could deliver their "Master Brand" aesthetic at both scale and speed.
Our solution? A "follow the sun" system that blends US-based talent with international teams across Manila and India. While we're sleeping here, they're creating over there—work literally never stops. It's the kind of global workflow that lets us maintain Sephora's brand integrity across thousands of assets while hitting those aggressive timelines.
We handle over 20,000 creative requests annually, with a 99.6% on-time delivery rate. When creative volume spiked 44% in a single quarter, our systems scaled without compromising quality.

Making diversity feel authentic, not forced
Laneige wanted casting that actually reflected their growing U.S. audience. Not the checkbox kind of diversity—the real kind. Plus, they needed someone who could handle the whole production from start to finish without dropping the ball.
Here's what happened: we created diverse, authentic content that stretched their budget further across every platform. The timing couldn't have been better—beauty enthusiasts were already buzzing about Laneige's new lip mask flavors, and we got to ride that wave of anticipation while launching coordinated campaigns with Sephora.
The campaign generated 38M TikTok impressions across the UK and Singapore—with the U.S. launch still gaining momentum.

Sometimes you need an outsider's POV
You know that feeling when you've been looking at something too long? Nopalera needed a different perspective on their brand messaging. That's where we came in.
Founder Sandra Velasquez said it best: "As founders, we're often in the jar and can't read the label. Working with messaging experts like View Imaging helped us step back and gain clarity—especially when it came to product renaming and creating a clearer messaging hierarchy on our website. That clarity now translates to a smoother, more intuitive experience for our customers.
"And it worked. That newfound clarity helped boost customer engagement and gave Nopalera momentum that led to new retail partnerships.

Here's what this recognition really means
We didn't plan to become a full-service agency. The work pushed us there. Every ask made us grow—not just in what we could produce, but in how we thought. We built smart. Hired thoughtfully. And stayed laser-focused on what our clients actually needed.
"This recognition isn't just about View Imaging—it's about the partnerships, the people, and the belief that making more beautiful can lead to something bigger," Bennett says.
Being a finalist in three categories feels amazing—and shows we can deliver everything our clients need in one place.
Why we
love what BeautyMatter does
BeautyMatter isn't just handing out awards. They're actually building something meaningful—bringing together an industry around what really matters: the work itself.
What we appreciate about BeautyMatter is that their recognition is grounded in real impact and innovation. They've created a space where we can celebrate excellence based purely on making beautiful things that move the needle.
Finalists—
and fired up
We'll find out who wins on August 4th. But honestly? Being named a finalist already feels like a win.
This recognition is about the incredible partnerships that make this work possible. These projects only work because of the trust and collaboration we have with our brand partners—and the creativity our team brings to every challenge.
Because when beautiful work meets beautiful partnerships, you don't just make more. You make more beautiful.
